Case Study
YourAnglingVoice provides services to Bass Anglers Sportfishing Society (BASS) for representation on the bass fisheries management plan (FMP). This includes attendance at and preparatory work for Bass Management Group meetings, chaired by DEFRA, along with numerous sub-groups chaired by the MMO.
BASS are a membership society consisting of a large number of bass anglers of varying methods right across the UK, which comes with a wide range of voices and opinions. YourAnglingVoice works with the organisation to channel that into a single coherent set of asks to campaign on the back of, seeking a better fishery with better bass stocks for all to enjoy.
As well as direct representation, the society is kept updated with engagement directly on their own forum, to create a continual feedback loop with their members, further ensuring everyone in the society has the opportunity to be heard and feed into the process.
